This means that the fibers from which the textile products are made come from organic farming and then processed in a responsible and sustainable way. Since 2017, we have been joining the BCI project for all our cotton fabrics.

They are forests where the habitats of wild animals are respected and the undergrowth, shrubs and minor plants play a protective function of the climate, soil and water. The textile industry increasingly uses forest-based fabrics such as viscose and variants, such as modal and lyocell. The Forest Stewardship Council has been involved to ensure traceability through the supply chain of the textile sector, an indispensable condition to get to label clothes composed of cellulose fibers from FSC certified forests. One of the best known and most used FSC certified fibers is Tencel. We carefully select FSC-certified viscose and tencel for its productions.

The Global Recycle Standard is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the most important international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector. The standard recognizes the importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model, with the aim of promoting the reduction of resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and increasing the quality of recycled products. We obtained the GRS certification in January 2018 through Certificate n. 2018-032, License n. GR0059.

It was created focusing on the principles of transparency and management of chemicals according to an integrated prevention and precaution approach. We are compliant with this program which involves the entire textile supply chain, selecting only suppliers who correctly manage chemicals in the various production stages.

In particular, it certifies the use of flax fibers from European crops with the following characteristics: no irrigation (99.9% certified by CELC); no use of GMOs; rotation of plantations; reduced use of fertilizers and pesticides; natural maceration in the field; carbon sink: retains 400,000 tons of CO2 every year; no waste: the whole plant is used; completely mechanical extraction of the fibers (scutching); compliance throughout the supply chain with the rules of the International Labor Organization We only use European Flex Linen yarn and we are proceeding to obtain certification as a fabric manufacturer.

We obtained the RWS certification in January 2020 through certificate no. RAF 2020-052, License No. RW0108.

In order to guarantee the consumer that organic textile products are obtained in compliance with stringent environmental and social criteria applied at all levels of production, from the collection of natural fibers in the field to the subsequent manufacturing stages, up to the labeling of the finished product. GOTS certification obtained in January 2020, GOTS certificate 2020-206 / License N. G01069.

The label is released following the implementation of one or more initiatives of the eponymous roadmap. It therefore excludes assessement activities that take a snapshot of the company's situation prior to the start of the roadmap and other consulting activities provided by Process Factory.
